St. Michael School welcomes you to this year’s auction, A Decade of Dreams, to be held on March 6, 2010 at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary. Please join us for an unforgettable evening of entertainment, dinner, dancing, a lively silent and live auction, and the successful Wall of Wine! All of the funds raised for the evening will help support student learning and enrichment at St. Michael School.

When St. Michael School first opened its doors to 365 K-6th grade students in August of 2000, the school was quite different than it is today. There was only one administrator and St. Michael School could really have used the support of our current PTO, which started in 2006, to develop various school goals. As the student body and staff continues to grow today, St. Michael School gives thanks for all the ways that the PTO has so generously and effectively supported the vision of a Christ-centered Catholic education that is rooted in academic excellence and the development of each individual student.

With Dr. Wannemuehler and her amazing staff of dedicated faculty, administrative and support staff, we are energized about coming together to help our children and the school. Your support is needed at the auction not only by your attendance that evening, but also by your donations, sponsorships and enthusiasm.

Wes Hohenstein, the chief meteorologist at NBC17, will be joining us to facilitate the evening and our live auction. Wes speaks to hundreds of school students throughout the year about weather and the broadcasting business. He is a family man who understands the Cary community and we welcome him as our auctioneer!

Entertainment this year is provided by the critically acclaimed cover band Stone Age Romeos. Based out of Raleigh, these seasoned musicians will expose us to music spanning four decades.
